Omg It Smells Like Cake!

OMG! It smells a lot like cake. Probably because I just made cake, and I'm in the kitchen. That makes sense, Anyways I am really tired because I have a lot of homework. #SadFace That is pretty much all I have to say. Yeah.
 

Books, Dance, and 42%

This weekend has been Crazy! Capital K. On Saturday I stopped by The Bellevue University Bookstore to see Robin Russell, author of the Summer Island series do her book launch for "A Tiara for the Taking", her new book. Today I had my Spring Dance Recital, this is my Ninth year attending Mercerart Dance Studio. I had one solo spotlight dance, and one group dance. This was my first Solo Spotlight. You may be wondering, why 42%? Well, that's how much battery I have left, in my laptop, and in my personal day-to-day hectic life. Well, I have 5 words.

Check Up 6

At my school we have these assignments every week called Check Ups. There are ten questions, normally I answer at least 9... even though we normally have to answer at least 7. Most people say that Check Ups are really annoying and that they don't make any sense and that we shouldn't be given so much homework, but personally I actually really like them! And most of the time the questions are really easy, we have to write a paragraph or two answering the question and giving some thought into the explanations we provide. Simple, right? Well this week we only had to do 5... but what is really annoying is that we don't get to do any other problems for extra credit! I think that that is really annoying because I want to get a higher grade on it but I can't because I can only answer 5 questions! I don't think that it is really fair. What if I want to do more? I want to... but I CAN'T? Oh well. Oh, here is one of my answers... Number Nine.

Native Americans and Settlers did not get along very well. The Native Americans believed that they should be able to keep the land that had belonged to their ancestors long before any of the settlers decided to steal it from them. On the other hand, the Americans who had fought and died for this new land believed that they should be able to keep the land that they had fought Britain and The Native Americans for. This disagreement caused many problems for the up and running America, since it wasn’t the best country in the world, and it wasn’t very experienced either.  Lots of Men, Women and Children were killed on each side, and entire villages were killed.  

That is pretty much what average Answers are like. I mean sometimes they are really long, or really short.

New Hawks Uniforms

Okay, so I just have to say... Nike is a way better designer for the Hawks. Since Nike is based in Oregon, and the closest team to Oregon is The Seattle Seahawks they gave us a totally awesome-decked out 12th man- uniform for the up-coming season. Here is the whole thing in a nutshell.
On both sides of the neck there are twelve "feathers" apparently those represent all players on the field... (In case you don't know anything about football... There are 11 players from each team on the field and a few refs, The Hawks are the only team with a 12th man, the fans, so if you are a REAL Hawks fan... you are a 12th man.) The Jersey colour is dark blue (home) and white (away) this is not how it always is, but generally it is colder here. Personally I do not like the lime green additions. Also, there are way to many Nike swooshes.

Howrse-Mystery Horse

I bet a lot of you are wondering who the Mystery horse is.... You already know about 8 of the 9 Greek Mythology wandering horses, Aphrodite, Apollo, Athena, Hades, Helios, Dionysus, Hephaestus and Zeus. But there is another horse being released in 9 days. I have a really good guess for who the horse is and I am going to give you my theory, since there are three main gods who are brothers, Zeus who rules the sky, Poseidon who rules mainly the sea, and Hades who rules the underworld, The mystery horse must be Poseidon. If they already have Hades and Zeus they can't leave him out. So brace your self for Poseidon.

I want a dog like this!

Molly Brant

I was doing my Check Up for Homework and I found this picture of Molly Brant, who was a Mohawk Indian during the American Revolution and fought for England along wit the Iroquois. I thought she was really pretty. She lived in Canada for a long time apparently.

Here she is on a stamp in Canada.

Foo Pets

Foo Pets are so fun!!!! I didn't have enough time to make one yet but I'm sure it is fun. I bet you know what it feels like to not be able to get a pet. My parents say NO DOGS! (sad face) On foo pets you can make realistic virtual pets that do things like real pets. Example: the dogs need to be walked and feed and cleaned and they need to sleep and play and they do stuff that normal dogs do! The picture in here is the dog I want. They also have horses, cats, and maybe hamsters.

Do the dougie....???

So my friend taught me this weird dance called the dougie at school. Later I was doing it at this sushi place in Issaquah with my friend. So I looked it up on YouTube to see if I was doing it right and it comes up with people doing weird stuff, but then it comes up with this weird video of this dude from this show and the REAL dance is sooooo awkward. It's like step shuffle step back step shuffle step front repeat first repeat secound, left left left hop, right right right hop down touch down touch up up up down touch up down repeat all. It sounds a lot like tap. So yeah.

Snow-XD

Last night they canceled school, I thought they were crazy and just didn't want any trouble. Well I just woke up and I looked out the window... We have SO MUCH SNOW!I don't even know what I'm going to do! We have AT LEAST six inches and it is still falling really hard! HappySkates10, how much do you have? I think you live higher than I do.

Dance Recital

Yesterday I did my Winter Dance Recital. I had about seven dances. I also had to talk about myself in the beginning of the show. My parents came and my Grandparents. I can't wait until my Birthday!!!!!!!

Snow

Ahh, finally we have snow! Mark the date! Yet not enough to go steal my cousin and the sleds. Maybe tomorrow? I hope we don't have school then because that would be awful! So much snow, but you can't play in it? AHH! Today I studied my School Play lines. All is well.
